Confirm Government Approvals
Introduction

The final step prior to submitting the fully-developed project proposal to the financier for approval is to obtain the necessary clearances from relevant government agencies.  The form that this takes depends on the target financier.  For example, the Adaptation Fund and Green Climate Fund both require the National Designated Authority for to issue a letter of endorsement (or “no objection”) to the project.  This step should be relatively straightforward if the city has been engaged with these entities throughout the process.
